The City of Campbell River's Supply Management Department is responsible for the procurement of goods and services across the organization.
Supply Management may:
Vendors are responsible for staying informed of current or upcoming procurement opportunities. In some cases, consistent with industry practice, Supply Management may contact selected known vendors to ensure they are informed of upcoming opportunities as they are posted electronically.
To assist vendors in staying up to date, the City does maintain a subscription service through Bid Opportunities however the City does not have the resources to personally contact all potential proponents of all opportunities.
All Requests For Offers (RFO), Tenders, and Requests For Proposal (RFP) competitions are posted electronically on the Bid Opportunities section of the City's website and are automatically sent to each proponent that has registered for that area of business on our website. Notifications for each competition are also posted on BC Bid. Any business interested in becoming a vendor for the City is invited to view, download, and respond to opportunities posted.
